Championship Trade Thread
 

This year's official trade thread. This is for posting both pick and team trades, both that you are willing to trade, or willing to trade for. Actual discussion between parties should be conducted elsewhere (AIM or PM for example).

As for me, Im interested in either getting a higher up 1st round pick, or even possible getting another 1st round pick or upgrading my 3rd round pick to a 2nd. Basically I either want a high quality pick, or more better quality picks. I dont want to trade down my first round unless it involves getting more 1st round picks fairly early on.

You'll still get a quality robot. Remember, not everyone is going to get picked this year.

Seems a little uneven to me. I think this should be disallowed. I mean it isn't even a 1st for a 2nd...it is a 1st for a 3rd. and a good 1st pick at that! It is as if Levin571 only signed up for the good of Jones571 (probably not true...but effectively that is what happened).

I too think that this should be dissallowed, it is indeed a little lopsided, even if it currently does not violate any of the trade rules.

Yeah Jonesey. I'm gonna have to crack down on the unbalanced trade this year. You and Levin can swap first and third round picks but letting him swap a first for a third is kind of unfair since he did this last year for you.

I of course will disagree upon the fact that I'm not violating any rules this is a draft pick for draft pick. or robot for robot. that is how the trade rules were set up if he wants to set him self back like this so be it but there are honestly no real grounds for a veto...please enlighten me.....

If a trade is between 2 people and they both agree how is it unfair? i will state again it is a pick for a pick we both agreed it was fair...and Levin571 thinks he will still be able to beat me like last year so i say let us play....

it is an uneven trade. it will hinder him and help you. it almost looks like he joined just to help you with that trade. thats just in my opinion.

i don't like the trade personally but i don't think it would be fair to stop this trade unless all trades are stoped....what is the difference between this and if they just picked the robots the other one wants and traded them...i think we have to let this fly or we have to not let trades happen this year (which i think is the best solution)

Ok well the vote is up to 7 right now on Overriding the trade. Yes, i vote against it and it is unfair, on, 1st round for a 3rd rounder? Theres a bit of a problem there. I propose that if we get 15 people to vote against it, its offically by FF agreement, an invalid trade.

On a different topic, I really want to be able to be present for one of my picks, so Im looking to move up to a pick before 7 pm today.
At 7 i have a VEX meeting, meaning I wont be around for my current 8:00 pick. I wont be present for my 2nd or 3rd because Ill be going to Orlando, so I want to be present for my 1st rounder.

After much consideration I have to let the trade pass because I didn't follow through and make such trades illegal.
They will be next year.
