Missing Ninny

Has anyone seen Mike o'leary lately? He hasn't posted in a while, I fear he is going through withdrawls. Hopefully he'll be back soon, before things get really bad for everyone around him.

EddieMcD 18-07-2001 16:52

On the bright side, people like us can catch up to him.

Carolyn Duncan 19-07-2001 22:47

It's not any fun without any competition.

Jessica Boucher 20-07-2001 09:12

Speaking of missing.....

...where'd Raul go? We seem to have lost him when the forum moved over.

Curiosity killed the cat, but Im not a cat ;)

So what you're saying is curiosity didn't kill you?

And why isn't it fun without competition?

Based on some of the replies you've given I'd agree with the latter reason.

mike o'leary 27-07-2001 15:15

whats that supposed to mean?

Carolyn Duncan 27-07-2001 15:18

Just that sometimes when you post stuff you forget and have already posted it before.
What it really means is that you're a Ninny Rambot.

mike o'leary 27-07-2001 15:22

whens that ever happened?

Carolyn Duncan 27-07-2001 15:55

I'm stressing and putting this in bold.
What it really means is that you're a Ninny Rambot.

mike o'leary 27-07-2001 15:59

thank you...im proud of my ninny-ness.

Carolyn Duncan 27-07-2001 16:01

I know you are. That's why I put that in there.

mike o'leary 28-07-2001 14:52

but you still didnt answer my question...
whens that ever happened?

Carolyn Duncan 29-07-2001 00:25

Mike, read the bold print! This is the one time you will hear the words ignore the fine print. The point was that you are a ninny not about the posting thing.

EddieMcD 29-07-2001 18:53

Children, stop bickering!

mike o'leary 29-07-2001 19:18

ok oh-holy one...
but when did i ever do that???

Yes daddy. But only if you stop posting to raise your post count!

EddieMcD 31-07-2001 15:07

*laughs*

No way in hell.

mike o'leary 31-07-2001 18:15

you should post only when you have something to say

You left out the word "relevant". Unlike Tom I'm right about you leaving out words.

but then we wouldnt have off-topic conversation...i almost wrote off-topic threads but then i realized that wasnt what we got...but it did give me an idea.....

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 17:17

Off topic convos can start even if the posts are all relevant. Someone will post something that sparks a thought by someone else, who posts refering to that small part of a post and you have an off topic convo. Get it? or are you confused?

mike o'leary 02-08-2001 21:51

at some point an off topic conversation needs an irrelevant comment to be spawned

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 22:54

Not every topic needs this. Some, yes; all, no.

Brandon Martus 03-08-2001 03:07

i think its time to retire this thread...seeing that mike is back ...
