Autodesk R10
I don't know about any of the other regionals but at the philly regional there was an autodesk stand that displayed the new R10 inventor. I was just curious about what everybody else thought of the new media capabilities (aka picture rendering, multiple constraint driven animation) that the new programming has. Personally I beleive this opens a bunch of new windows in visual aid. If you didn't get to see a demo they can combine up to 25 different constraints to run in order. This allows you to make a video that will portray a process which will allow the audience to see how the parts actually work. They also allow you to render pictures with different backgrounds. I can't wait to use it to it's full extent. :D

Re: Autodesk R10
Hi
That sounds well cool, especially the multiple driven constraints parts, (i did do something like this, doing one constraint after the other and splicing them together, it worked well, but not perfectly, it jumped in the middle, for the movie look here How long do yuo think it will be until we get this, (if we ever do) via first? oljomo |

Re: Autodesk R10
They don't splice constraints together they do it the way correctly using min/max equations (as you see in our animation). They don't splice multiple animations together it's on one constraint thats being driven but it controls all the other ones. They also don't have all the bugs fixed in 10 either (only took about 5 minutes to do that).
