Yeah but look at the picture. My best guess is that is the programming module considering the fact that there is nothing in the kit now that has a serial port.

Oppss.. A little to vague again. I knew about the telepone jack listed as a serial port. Im talking about the picture of the thing on the only page of the programing instructions. That device clearly has a standard computer port for some purpose. My best guess is that it's the programming module.

Agreed. Much more info will soon be on its way from RadioShack, depending on your definition of soon. Mine is measured in weeks and months.

Well.... Apparently, there are parts all ready been decided upon because the radioshack kit has a poster containing all the modules you can buy. On the one side is a rather disturbing picture of a guy with a big head riding a surfboard and on the other side is the product line. From what I remember there will be a tank tread kit, omni wheels, chain and sprockets, encoders, ultrasonic detectors, light detectors, and line following module in addition to the stuff all ready out.

No unfortunately. That was just included with the kit I bought. I probably could scan a picture of it though.
