The Greatest Birthday Present Ever...
 

Alright. I know you guys prolly dont care all too much. But this story shows how nerdy I really am! Lol.

I went to the mall with Jay lastnite. And we went into Radioshack because I wanted to see if my uncle was working. We walk in and we see the VEX stuff. Jay is like "Hey, thats what FIRST makes" and I was like "OMG Yeah!" We saw some safety glasses [they say vex on them] And we were like wow, we need these. So Jay got me VEX safety glasses for my birthday.

The funny thing is that I am really happy about that. And I went home and showed my parents and was all excited about it. :) They looked at me like I was crazy.

I guess people never knew that a birthday present could be so easy.

I love being a nerd! :D

So.. you know you are a nerd when you want safety glasses for your birthday! :p

Ashley...the safety glasses were a good gift but what you should have really asked for is the vex kit :p

Well, I was like "OMG I want this" [the kit] and he was like "I cant pay for that!" and I was like "I know... I'll put it on my birthday list for my parents... or my christmas list."

I am seriously thinking about buying a VEX kit or asking for one for my bday, which is a long ways away. I think I may need to settle for a FLL kit...but hey, it will still be fun! :cool:

thats really awesome. i was at FIT at the bookstore and they had a ton of safety glasses and it amused me so much...but they didnt say VEX. so where exactly would one go about finding a VEX kit or these glasses? like what store, cuz i havent seen them in my area...anyways my birthday is next friday (after atlanta...so sad...i wish it were while we were in atlanta. that would be awesome!) and i have no surprises (cuz i picked evry present while i was there...) so that would be an awesome thing to get. :)
its as i always say...(only certain people hear this at times thought lol) FIRST is what makes the world go round. half of my b-day presents are for robotics lol. oh and ill make you a b-day card. just what division are you guys or where will you be hanging out in so i can find you easily? (cant find your team on the FIRST website)

(now i want safety glasses...humffh...)

Aw.. yea, Radioshack.. all of them shud have them.
