Project Prometheus
 
A new space exploration project, named Prometheus, has been announced by NASA. It is a JPL/Northrop collaboration. It involves nuclear power and ion acceleration engines. I will let everybody read it for themselves:

FYI, Promethius is not new. The project has been running for 2-1/2 years, and is a central element of the "JIMO" (Jupiter Icy Moons Orbiter) mission plans.
