Yeah, that's the skip day here too. Which just happens to occur on the same day as my IB English test, so no skip.

The Calc BC test wasn't horribly bad, I'm fairly sure I got a 5 on the AB subsection to get out of Math 1A in college, hopefully a 5 on the whole thing to get out of Math 1B, but I'd say that's borderline.

Good luck to everyone else on all of their tests!

August 25th - June 14th here. I don't think the problem is so much about our class moving fast as much as...not moving at all. We got back from Feb. break and were basically told we had two days per chapter. Whereas all of the other non-ap sophomore chemistry classes get to watch the first season of Alias on DVD, we have to work. With any luck, that'll change after the exam. :p

If this thread proves anything, it proves what I knew all along.

FIRST holds the best and brightest students this country... this world... has to offer.

Now if only the admissions departments of colleges knew that.

Well, I dont think you can go that far. There are surely many students far brighter than most of us that just dont have access to programs like FIRST. It's for students like that that we need to make the most of our FIRST experience :D

AP Calc today left me with a headache...I really like how College Board managed to find every subject I didn't like this year and put it in the free response :P

Anyhow, I get a break tomorrow, then AP English, AP Chem, Government, and Economics. Shaping up to be a fun 2 weeks.

now I'm only taking the AP English Lit & Comp. exam. I also believe that it's the only AP course that was offered this year, except for calc, which I didn't have enough math for yet. I believe my school only ever has offered 4 different AP classes...I really wish we would have more

I took the AP World History Exam today. It was alright, not too hard, but just enough that Im not positive enough to keep me edgy about my score. Im confident I passed, but what my score is yet to be determined. The third essay threw me a bit off.
Glad thats my only AP this year. Another 116er is also sad that hes got his English AP on 5-5-05, so he misses senior skip day. Hmm, I wonder what my class' (clas of 2007) skip day is, since we're not in school at 7-7-07. I wander what class of 2000s was also....

I'll second that...anyone with FIRST on their resume should be able to go anywhere they wanted...but then again MIT and CalTech have limited spots...
Yeah the Cal AB test today was a beast...ugh...I only have the Gov test next Wed then I'll be done.

I took the AP Lang. Comp on Monday, and AP Stats yesterday. Neither were as bad as I thought they were going to be, but that's not really saying much. Still pretty difficult.

Monday is Physics C. We're only taking the Mechanics portion of it, thank God. Our teacher realized that we would probably need two years to cover the Mechanics and Electric portions... and we had one.

Good luck to all.
