Would anyone be against an AIM draft on the 28th? In my experience they go a lot quicker, and simulate the whole "live draft" idea better.

I will be out of town on the 28th. The 21st works better for me. I may have to make a list either way, because my online time is always pretty random.

I have SATs on the 4th in the morning. The 4th in the afternoon or the 5th would work fine for me.

Okay folks. We have to draft after the 27th becuase I want to avoid the whole dropping out issue. I've never drafted on AIM but it sounds pretty fun. Anyone against that? As for when since we all have problems with most of the earlier times how about starting at 4pm on Friday the 10th of June?

Concerning the AIM draft, I started an AIM chat room for the UTC FF draft. I worked out well for the people that were in it. If you can get enough people there, then the draft goes much faster.
I have seen most, if not all, of the people signed up on AIM at one time or another so an AIM chat room may work well.

I don't have a preferance, but I am at school until 4 pm pacific so I would not be able to go on AIM before that time. However, I am always on CD during snack and lunch breaks. I guess I should make a list.

A few changes according to the WPI site that will not work with the previous scoring system. There are 14 alliance captains, with all but seeds 1 & 2 participating in eighth-finals, and after that everything is normal in the eliminations. Another problem is the draft pick points. The alliance selection will be regular for all 14 captains the first round, then randomly selected in the second round. So I guess it would make more sense to do:

2nd..7
3rd...6
4th...5
5th...5
6th...5
7th...4
8th...4
9th...4
10th..3
11th..3
12th..2
13th..2
14th..1

or some variation of the above, with no points for second-round picks because they are random.

I would say those awards are probably worth a little too much. In addition, I would reccoment either changing losses or ties to be zero points (not both, just one).
