Remote Webmail

Is it possible to access email on one server through a webmail client on another server? My school's e-mail server works but the webmail interface is down (has been for a while and will be for another day) and I'd like to be able to use my e-mail without having to have all the messages downloaded to a client (outlook express) on my computer.

So, is there anywhere I can go to log into my school l e-mail without using the school's webmail interface?

If you just don't want to loose all the emails, theres an option to leave the messages on the server so they'll still be there when it goes back up.

Otherwise, you can do imap, assuming you know the school's imap server, but that still requires using an email client like outlook express, but it keeps the messages on the server and in their folders.

You could make your own webmail, I believe the default Horde/IMP install allows you to connect to any imap server. Would be a lot of work to setup just for a day or two tho.

I think yahoo mail actually allows you to do this. You need all the server information though of course. :)
