Our ratio is probably around 6 guys : 1 Girl. But the Emerging Computer Technology Magnet,which is why we have the team, at our school is skewed in a manner similiar to this (More guys into tech I guess), so its not that suprising. I think I speak for all the guys on 108 when I say we are jealous of the teams with more girls then guys.

i attend an all girls school. GO FEMBOTS!! so no guys on our team, well not including mentors and moderators. although there is an incriminating photo that decides to prove other wise... lol.

it's fun to be on an all girls team. but it does get annoying after awhile when people stare and marvel in amazement that a group of girls were able to create a robot. almost like it's something that's NEVER happened before. it was never expected, but it's such an accomplishment. it should be counted as a compliment, but it's just tiring to hear. oh wells... that's enough of my rambing.

Our team has 4 girls, me being one of them, and a bunch of guys....i've never stopped to really count....i think its like 5:1 guys to girls....Hey, Im perfectly fine with that!:D

yeah it's something like 5:1, and just think, next year jess and i won't be there so if no new girls join....better the ratio for you!;)

My team has three 33 guys and 3 girls, and two girls are graduating this year. It's not like we discourage girls from joining our team. We encourage them to join but they just don't seem to want to come. I mean, I love FIRST, but if I'm stuck at school for 250+ hours during the build period, I don't want to be looking at guys the whole time.

I know exactly what u mean...we arent an all girls school, but the majority of our team is. (17 girls, 7 guys) At nats it was mainly the girls in the pit most of the time...so many ppl thought we were an all girls team...:D

So i'm hanging out with the other girls on the team and someone asks us, are you an all girls team? Um...no
Later on i toodle over to where the guys are hanging out and someone says, oh, i thought Beach Bot was an all guys team.
Go figure.

We have 23 guys and 11 girls. However, most of our girls are grauating PR members. Hopefully we will get newbies next year to cover our PR team.

We have a fairly large team (over 40) and we have around 5- girls. I haven't counted recently.
