Forza Motorsport -- NASA/FIRST Car
Does anyone else have this game for XBox? It's an incredibly detailed and fun racing simulator. It also allows you unprecedented ability to decorate and design your vehicles' paint schemes and vinyls. By manipulating basic shapes, you can come up with nearly anything. I was a bit bored this morning and turned my Ferrari 355 GTS into a NASA/FIRST car.
The image quality is terrible because I was photographing my television. Oh well. |

Forza is an awesome game...too bad it can't take pictures like Gran Turismo 4. Those logos must have taken forever. How did you get it to come out so well and how did you do the letters? |
Re: Forza Motorsport -- NASA/FIRST Car
Yeah Forza is an awesome racing simulator. I purchased it on release date and haven't played any other xbox game since. I really haven't gone into too much detail while customizing a car's overall apperance but I'd have to imagine that NASA/FIRST car took awhile to make.
I think I may have also converted clark from a die hard GT4 player to a Forza player since he hasn't played GT4 since Forza came out. Forza > GT4 :ahh: |
Re: Forza Motorsport -- NASA/FIRST Car
That is nifty... Never heard of the game though. Odd.

Here are some of the designs people are making.
http://tabwin.com/forza.htm I just don't see how it's possible using the basic shapes and terrible adjustment levels. My brother says there is a way to put images on the XBOX for decals if you had a modded one. Maybe that's how you did it. |
Re: Forza Motorsport -- NASA/FIRST Car
This car took about two hours to finish, I'd say. Both logos are made with the shapes that are available in the game, stretched and skewed and rotated as necessary. The hardest part is visualizing the different parts of drawing as simple shapes and figuring out where to start.
The letters in FIRST are rectangles, for the most part. The 'S' is really poorly done, especially up close. NASA is made from rectangles and triangles. |
