Depends on what type of dancing.

I didn't say that there was anything wrong with pyrotecs. I myself am a pyro and find it fun and entertaining.

Mike: but only if you consider dancing a sport...cuz thats basically what it is
I agree. When you go out clubbin' you get a great workout from all the dancing.

i like to take apart fireworks and put them in stuff and see what happens. i've found some cool websites with fireworks ideas. it was prolly my #1 hobby before robotics. i still enjoy playing with fire.

EddieMcD 23-07-2001 11:08

You should've seen me in chemistry class...

Tip: for a nice yet contained explosion, put Sodium in water.

mike o'leary 23-07-2001 15:54

my chemistry teacher eventually figured out the best way to deal with me was to keep all chemicals as far away from me as possible...
also david, youre what is called a pyromaniac. nothing wrong with it though, at least as far as im concerned. of course, it runs in my family so im biased

before robotics, i was serously thinking about being a pyrotechnician (sp?). liking fire sorta runs in the family. all my friends call me a pyro and say that i'm obsessed. it's true but oh well...lol

The DarkSide!

it's only ok unless u turn to the DARKSIDE , which would be an arsonist

p.s. the pic could be a pyro's logo...lol

Or put brake fluid in granular pool chlorine. But watch out! There is a high upward flame. Very dangerous!

EddieMcD 24-07-2001 14:01

I'm actually designing a pyrotechnic sequence, and the high flame would come in handy.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out how they do Kane's ring-pyro where when he forcefully drops his arms, the flames stick for a couple seconds, and slowly drop. I'd like to do the exact opposite of that (flames slowly rise and stick).

No. No way. No how. That's all there is to it. Btw, the arguement that since they risk their lives, it must be a sport doesn't work either. When you play tennis, you aren't risking your life, but you're playing a sport. Drug users risk their lives but I wouldn't call them athletes. Sorry for the sarcasm, I've been on a sailboat (aka, a real boat ;)) for week and had a lack of targets. ;)

EddieMcD 24-07-2001 15:12

Shooting Star Press: an inverse Moonsault.

mike o'leary 24-07-2001 15:16
