i dont see how you can't consider it a sport. yeah it's rigged. it's good entertainment. and the athleates risk their lives to put on a good show.

Haven't you guys ever seen the behind the scenes of pro wrestling. They have some really good choregraphers. That would mean NO it's not a sport. It's the perfect example of a male targeting soap opera.

Well, yes Carolyn, you are partially right, but look at the reasons David gave as well.

Since we're sorta on subject here: The Rock is overrated, and it sucks that half the old WCW wrestlers are still on contract by Time Warner.

Well, the band Kiss risked their lives just as much as pro-wrestlers for a concert. Think about all the pyrotechnics. Does that mean Gene Simmons is an athlete? Yes, I did have a ticket to the last farewell tour Kiss had and it rocked!

Wrestlers use pyrotechnics too. I don't see how pyro is dangerous if you know what you're doing.

And KISS looks like a group of pro-wrestlers with that makeup.

i suppose pro-wrestling could possibly be considered a sport...but only if you consider dancing a sport...cuz thats basically what it is.
