Family
 

At our kickoff meeting this season, our teacher (coach, whatever we are calling him) said that for the next six weeks the people around us would become our second family.

He wasn't kdding. For six weeks (actually longer) we spent more time with our team than our families!

the first year our team was in existence, i knew a majority of the people from junior high. when i actually joined this year, i made friends with the new people (our team doubled in size), and now i feel that we are all really close.

Same here - "We started as a team and became a family." The only time I see my family during the build is if I happen to catch a glimpse of them in the morning before I leave for school!

They wern't our second families, they were our FIRST (no pun intended...lol) familiy.

I got in cause my friend and her bf kinda said to come along... I was really busy then and wasnt too sure.. but I actually dropped extra curricular drama for robotics. Now I love my teammates to pieces and I'm really sad that a lot of em are graduating.. including our strat head, head mechanic, animation whiz and a bunch of others. We're all hoping they come back and mentor, but it's like having someone move out or something, it's so sad. I'm gonna miss you guys!
