Autonomous robots working & interacting with each other & their environment.

A co-worker sent me this today. I have only gotten a chance to see only parts of the site, but it looks like some revolutionary autonomous coding and underlying programming is involved. Maybe a glimpse into the future of FIRST's autonomous modes?

Check out the media section for movies, and also the Projects under the links section. They have a Segway RMP (Robotic Mobility Platform - if I am not mistaken) underway as well.

And, to top it off, a DARPA Grand Challenge project as well. :ahh:

Maybe it would be in a PA team's best interest to team up with or at least invite the people from the University of PA who are taking part in this project to visit a FIRST competition next year.
