Lines and wires
 

How do you give thickness to a line? I can't seem to figure it out, and I'm starting to feel awful dumb. Also, once I get my visible line, how would I add decals to it, such as wire gauge?

if you made it as a line, check the renderable box in the modifier panel, also check "display render mesh" or something, there's thickness there too...
