Heh before HS I wanted to be a lawyer, but why the heck would I want to spend an aditional 8 years in school and become a no fun and a stiff? :D
By the end of my MSOE summer camp in 2001, I knew I wanted to go into Electrical Engineering (I almost leaned towards Mechanical as a sophomore). Oh and Im going to MSOE also ;) |

no need to fight, just go play some computer game that lets you kick each others arse without anyone getting hurt. Either that or wait untill the comps and you might meet each other!

im torn between engineering and med school.. for me it's all going to come down to location...i got accepted into w&m, so obviously if i go there i'll be choosing the med school route.. but i've been thinking about studying in australia and if i do that then I may end up in a chemical or civil engineering field..

lol you do know what the statistics are for lawyers in the US right? as i check last time, it was 2 lawyers per family! We dont need anymore lawyers, but we do need competiant CEO's...

In my family, engineering and computer-nerd-ism is a sex-linked trait. All of the males in my paternal family are either engineers or CSers. I've wanted to be an engineer since I was in Mathcounts in '99 (placed 157th! \/\/007!1). Then, this past summer, I was introduced to electrical engineering at Rose-Hulman. I'm hooked.
However, I'm similarly stuck on physics, thanks to the Richard Feynman Freshman Lectures. (of which I have the complete set! \/\/007!1) Thus, I intend to double major and increase my desirability. |

I'm not terribly sure about any clear career path. I love the first program and have always done well in my science classes, but I suck at math. My math classes have, without a doubt, been the most frustrating classes I've ever taken. That's the bad news. The good new is that I do well in just about everything else. So as of now, I am considering the following careers (in no particular order):
Software Engineer Electrical Engineer General Surgeon Pathologist Journalist English Teacher (teaching it as a foreign language in another country) Yup, I'm really confused |
Engineering
Hmm this past year i've been pondering the idea, esp with having to apply to schools next year, There are soo many options, which field i'd be interested in even if i decided to go into engineering.... I think i've narrowed it down to engineering or art now...... Maybe i will incoprorate both!?

Engineer heck yeah
Before joining i wanted to be a naturalist but now i can do both. I wanted to study different animals . I want to become an engineer and start my own business. It will create veichels for scientists who will be working in the field or in the oceans or space or what ever. So if anyone wants to join meet me in like 8 years and lets get started. Good luck to all and peace out.

Ever since I was little, I always liked cars. If someone happened to rip all the brand and name tags off the cars in a Wal-mart parking lot, I could tell you what kind of car it is still.
I always wanted to be an automotive designer, but I never really knew about the detailed mecanicals within cars. I like to draw them. I have made hundreds of drawing of current and past models, as well as make up some of my own. However, I could not find any basis for this type of class for the career I want to pursue....... |
