openFIRST Project Stats

For anyone who's interested, SourceForge has turned on project statistics (ooh, pretty) and they're working for our project.

For the stats, take a look at:
http://sourceforge.net/project/stats...&ugn=openfirst

The stats are working on the all of the other SourceForge project sites that I checked, too.

So, I guess if anyone has some use for these stats; that would be cool. On a random note, I've found the map that's used by http://worldwide.kde.org and if there's sufficient interest, we could try to do something similar to that site (maybe for users, rather than, or in addition to, volunteers).

That's fine; we're not as well known as we perhaps should be :-)

The project website is: http://www.openfirst.org/

The basic description is: "openFIRST is an integrated set of modules which may be used together to create or enhance a web site. It is directed towards teams participating in the FIRST competition."

So it's code that helps make your website look better?

Well, it certainly is possible to use openFIRST as the sole design of your site (and in the past some teams have); but that's not really the intention. What it's supposed to do is provide backend functionality, like a guest book, a feedback form, a members area, a photo gallery and a news posting system which can be changed easily to suit the layout of a team's site and which are designed to work together; but don't require each other. So, websites using openFIRST can look completely different; for example, these two sites both use openFIRST:
