Maybe you should not use this poll in your research since it suffers from voluntary response bias... it's not statistically valid.

Whatever conclusion he comes to is going to be invalid anyways. There is no way to prove which is better.

Well, if you base it on certain factors, as in "Which cola soft drink is sweeter?" or "Which cola soft drink stays carbonated longer?", then you can say that it is "better" in that specific factor...

I'm a Coke addict. Wait, that didn't sound right. Coca Cola that is. But seriously, if I don't have it I go crazy. Not literally crazy, but you know how it is, I just HAVE to have my Coca Cola. I like it so much I was thinking of getting a fountain for my house.

Pepsi is okay too, but there is just something about Coke, (I have no idea what, but something) that makes me like it better.

Diet Coke though I cannot stand! That stuff is nasty. Regular all the way! Coke C2 is nasty too. They claim there is no taste difference but I sure find one.

What's funny though is I like Coke over Pepsi, but I like Aquafina (pepsi product) over Dasani (coke product). And you all are wondering how on earth I can tell the difference right?

I have heard many peopl say that, but I just can't see why. Then agian I can't see teh difference between tap water and bottle water. But still, Coke is better.

Coke

Waaaay back in high school, our technical director in the theatre department paid us for our "work" by keeping a refrigerator stocked with Coca-Cola. Once, we had a contest to see who could chug a 12-oz. can the quickest. My buddy Joel did it in 5 seconds. I did it in 7. We both learned that chugging Coke is painful.

... and this tidbit of Andy Baker's somewhat meaningless past is brought to you by...

If I had to drink non diet drinks I prefer Pepsi. If I were to drink my preferred drink it would be Diet Coke. I know it sounds weird but Coke is too much like syrup and Diet Pepsi is like bad medicine.

Nobody beats Diet Coke with Lime (except Red Bull).

There is no question! Pepsi is better, much better.

End of research.

Oddly enough Pepsi is bottled in my hometown of Rolling Meadows and I still like Coke better.

I think the question is not Coke or Pepsi but Coke in what type of container.

Coke tastes different depending on what container it is in. So would you pick:

Plastic Bottle
Aluminum Can
Glass Bottle
or Fountain (if fountain, name from what restaurant)

?

I would pick glass bottle probably. Although they are all very good.

I'm going to have to go with Coke. When you go to a university that has a strick "contract" with Coke then it tends to be the only thing you can find anywhere. It's nice to have a Pepsi every once and awhile, but when I want a nice cold refreshing drink....I grab a Coke.

YEah, I don't notice the diffrent in most of those probably because I have never had coke in a glass bottle. But I do find the difference in fountatin. We work the Georgia Dome Events and run the pap John stands and the fountains are much less carbonated and much sweeter at the dome games.

Coke is cool. Coke in a glass bottle is even cooler cause I think its harder to find.

Pepsi. You can go to Canada and it'll taste the same in a can as it does in the States. Coke in Canada is sweeter and tastes more like Pepsi in a can and in the states it tastes insanely dull.

Besides, Pepsi makes Mountain Dew aka happiness in a bottle. :D

Coke all the way.

Glass Bottle, Then can, then plastic bottle, then fountain (I don't really like the fountain drink normally I go w/ Sprite)
