PC Gamers, what do you play?
 

Just trying to get a feel of how many gamers lurk on CD and what you play :) . I have been addicted to Guild Wars recently but also play CS (1.6 and Source).

Though I have the very sporadic CS, I find myself to be a bit more of a generalized player: Sims 2 University & Stepmania for me!

I play Star Wars Galaxies. I haven't been for a couple months because I don't have the money to get another month but as soon as i do....believe you me i will start up again.

I actually just run a lot of songs and I own a hard pad. PS2 has less songs available than Stepmania does. Also, since all files for it are user-created and programmed, it's easy to find songs that you won't find in standard mixes.

I'm wanting to see if there's IIDX for the computer out there somewhere.

I have an IIDX sim and a ton of simfiles as well as an official Konami Controller (KOC) :D . Have a modded PS2 as well. If you are looking for anything Beatmania/IIDX related go to www.bemanistyle.com.

Raven shield is a good one, still play the original Rainbow six. Play a little CSS, a little Guild Wars when the clan needs me too, but mostly I have to give it up to solitaire. Nothin beats it.

City of Heroes (A.K.A, the only time I'll ever look good in tights, Halloween costumes notwithstanding) is my current game. It's an MMORPG for the casual gamer (i.e., no camping for 6 hours trying to be the first one to slay the H4xx0r Beast in hopes that he'll drop the 00b3r Sword of 1337ness) where you play as Superheroes in the standard comic book style of defeating villains and their minions either by yourself or with a team. There's story-arcs and task forces as well. Very fun if you only have a couple hours on the weekend to play.

For the record, I stray away from the consoles. My most recent console is a Nintendo 64, and I only got that a couple years ago. And I so don't lurk (usually :p).

This may sound weird but I'm addicted to text based game called ADOM (ancient domains of mystery). It is the most difficult game that I've ever played. Its a dungeon crawling rougelike game in a nutshell. I'm also thinking about playing FFXI.

Ok Here's my playlist this month:
-Need For Speed Underground 2, lots of fun!
-The Sims (Livin' Large expansion, I used to play Sims 2, but my computer isn't good enough to give it its due)
-CS 1.6
-Day of Defeat
-America's Army (Woot Free FPS's that are good!)
-Halo (PC rocks)
-Age of Empires 1 and 2
-Ravenshield when I'm at lan parties
-Pong!
-And don't discount any flash games, those are fun too

I am a big Call of Duty fan. I also have been known to play blockland. It is an online lego game where you build stuff, and guess what it owns like 71. i play the sims, rollercoaster tycoon, starcraft, and Hoyle Casino. that is my PC gaming. I play massive amounts of console though!!!

I play a lot of Counter Strike. Not really very good at it, but love to play. That is until the cheaters enter. You know, the ones with wall, speed, and aimbot hacks :mad:
Look for 'Demolition Man' at a server near you :ahh:

Didn't like PSO: Blue Burst a lot, but yeah. I picked up Jedi Academy again too, pretty fun slicing people up in duel mode.

currently playing a lot of the open beta of navy field (www.navyfield.com), a ww2 based naval massivly multiplayer strat....
then being in a clan i play call of duty a lot still and some suddenstrike 2 (old , superb strat game....)
but with exams... not much really

I hardly play anything on the PC anymore. When I finally decide to spend my money and get Zero Hour I'll play that quite a bit. Until then, Halo LANs with some friends, DDR, and Stepmania will have to suffice. Nothing like the fun of AAA'ing Max 300...

Well, right now Knights of the Old Republic is taking up all my time, but I also play a lot of RuneScape, Ragnarok Online, Diablo 1/2, GunBound, StarCraft, The Specialists, Counter-Strike , Quake III, and Doom 1-3 (just to name a few ;) )


Yeah, I've got WAAAYYY too much free time.

yeah went to a lan last night and we mostly played CS 1.5 and some warcraft FT. But mostly always can never go wrong with CS. On the rest of my time though i like to play Forza and Halo 2 for xbox.

Mostly CS1.6/Source, HL2DM, BF1942 [& DC], and Stepmania (lets just say the reference to the game so many times has made me get it).

Here's a question: Is refreshing Bemanistyle.com trying to find more Stepmania songfiles a bad way to spend time? :D

I'm trying to get into City of Hero's I've heard it's quite the good time. Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich is also a good superhero game, the sequel to the popular Freedom Force from a few years back.

I'm thoroughly obsessed with Sid Meier's Pirates. It's where you play a boy who joins a pirate ship to find his kidnapped family members. You make your way through the ranks and it's not complicated to play, just to explain.

I gravitate religiously towards fps's. I hate rpg's, mmo's, and especially rts's. Right now I play Battlefield 1942 and i have the two expansion packs (Road to Rome and Secret Weapons of WWII). I also play FarCry...yes that's FarCry, with an F. I'm stuck on the last level so if anyone as any tips tell me. I have the Sims Deluxe but that's kinda for if I'm super bored. I'm saving my money for Battlefield 2 when it comes out. ooo i also have Men of Valor. It's a fps in Vietnam. Not the best game i've played but it's really good but too short.
I'm thinking of getting Call of Duty but i've played so many WWII shooters they're all the same.

Hooray for Starcraft. Haven't played that in a while.

And refreshing Bemanistyle.com waiting for more songs is NOT a bad way to spend time. Think of this; is getting angry because I full combo Pandemonium Heavy (839 combo) and miss the AAA by 5 greats a bad way to spend time?

I resent that
CoD is the best ww2 fps at the moment. There are none to compare it with, BF is a bit oldish now , but is great fun if you have lots of mates and a teamspeak server ;) MOHAA is ancient, good fun but no anti cheat system, and rtcw is good but no one plays it.

moved on to Neverwinter Nights for a while...

Now I play World of Warcraft... but FIRST sucks up so much of my time that I only have one character! doh!

Then I'm tempted to tell you to avoid it ;)... the character creater alone will keep you busy for hours on end. It's like Barbie Dressup for superheroes. :D

My game currently is Battlefield 2. I also play Unreal Tournament 2004 if I can get a little lan party started at my house(by little I mean little, like 2 to 4 people).
