I don't think that one should just let everything happen to themself, but being overly forceful with attraction is definetly not a good thing. If you're interested, express it, but know your, and the other person's, boundaries.

In my experience, having a lot of very good friends is more valuable than having a volatile relationship with a single person. But I can't say I have the best track record...

i've learned that guys don't take hints....hinting doesn't work...they just don't get it, or they pretend not to get it (really annoying!)

For those of you up on your literature... it is well known that Shakespeare often wrote of the 'Tragedy of Unrequited Love' as i believe he put it.... just something to consider... the problem is as old as humanity, perhaps older.
