everything has two sides
the thing i am wondering now is... odes everything has two "sides" and only two sides. one thing coudl be a advantage coudl be a disadvantage.... but then the perspective of that judgment changed from one view to another.... so that is why irnoy existed.
i think elements exist in pairs...short and tall, if there was not such despcription of tall how could you describe tall. tall thereofre is defined as the absence of short. as for people.. it depends what perspective you are judging in. its a mysteru i haven't solved yet.... or its not meant to be solved.... sometimes i tend to blame myself when people dont like me... :( |

Well... it's currently the guy trend to wear their pants low... kind of like girls (but different LOL)
It's the guys who's pants are at their knees and have to waddle so that their pants aren't at their ANKLES that make me want to give them $40 and be like "GO BUY A PAIR OF PANTS THAT FIT" :) (it's really unattractive..) |

As for the whole fashion thing:
Guys + wearing pants low = very bad and disgusting I like baggy clothes but I actually try to wear all my pants on my waist. Waist=good - Showing off underwear=bad! As for the girls with the skin tight pants, as long as you can fit a cell phone in the pockets without actually breaking the phone or your pants or leaving a permanent mark in your side, then it should be fine! Oh and utishpenguin, as for mens pants getting tighter, we've been there and done that and learned. Ever watch old 70's tv shows or movies?? Yeah... not good looking and must've been uncomfortable as well. Then again what do I know, I grew up in the 80's and 90's with ripped jeans, and a check mark on all my clothes (nike)! At least I looked think I looked cool! Well maybe I think I looked cool then but have you ever heard the expression "no matter how cool you think you looked in your High School pics, your kids will think you looked like a dork!" Yeah.. I'm just waiting for that day!! lol |

I would never look down on a girl wearing a T-shirt and jeans - they are the universal clothing: always comfortable, always in style, and always fit in. I'll be wearing a T-shirt and normal jeans at Annapolis and Houston - Come, let us celebrate the T-shirt and Jeans combo together! :p |

What made me really shack my head was walking into the local American Eagle store, and seeing jeans for 30 bucks.
The kicker? They were made to look worn, and had a tear in the knee - a little patch torn out. The same place on every one. Wow - and I buy new jeans when mine get ripped...never thought of saving myself the trouble and buying pre-ripped jeans for extra money.:confused: |
Dude why are you in american Eagle then go to Old navy and buy some painter pant/jeans they are awsome.. I wear the heck out of mine and they are darned comfortable.. reasonable price too
hey I'd just like the chance to say, guys are not the only one wearing their pants low now adays.. ( I don't sag much at all but just saying ) here in south florida ever go to a club, you'll see a ton of girls with extremely low pants.. and yes you can see their undergarments, yes it mayb the $@#$@#$@#$@# capital of the world, or something, but none the less its not all on the guys lol girls do it also |
American Eagle? Old Navy? Wha? Never been in those stores. I bought my pants at JC Penney. Never spent more than $20 on a pair of pants. Ever. My pants used to stay up...then I lost some weight. Now they need help staying up. I don't wear belts because they bother me...but I keep them up.
I've noticed lately that a lot of girls are wearing belts that don't even go through the belt loops. Heh. Fashion is lame...be original...or at least don't be like everyone else. |

No. I was IN the store. My friend was buying things. Consumers are allowed to enter stores without buying things, you know. I thought it was a very telling to see faded, ripped jeans being SOLD for more money: fashion is weird. I usually buy things in sets of 3 or 4 - I have multiple copies of every article of clothing I own - go figure. I also don't spend over a certain $$$ value on clothing. It's just not that important to me. And wow, we are off topic. :D |

Maybe it's just me but....don't guys usually think a girl is "pushy" if she's just blunt? For me, I always end up with male friends then a boyfriend so...maybe I need some lessons. Any single guys willing to teach?? LOL

Well.. I personally think that it's better to become friends with someone first, before they become your boyfriend. But then the after relationship difficulties come into the picture... often people are scared to go out, break up and not be friends anymore.

well, i have to admit, i'm one of those girls you will never think is *deleted* fine, nkrumm... i don't do the skin-tight, well, anything, and definately don't do the low-riding pants. I don't have the figure for it, not by any stretch of the imagination, and even if i did, i don't have the confidence in my figure to try it. i'd probably scar people for life. if i ever did wear spandex (ew! evil freshman year colorguard uniform!) pants, i'd be one of those people who'd wear a shirt to my knees with it. yes, being a child of the 80s, i did do that for a while...
ok, girls belts can be a fashion statement, with a dress or something. if needed to hold up the pants, on either gender, it should be employed for that purpose. i don't have fashion statement belts, though i do want some. they only work if the pants fit properly, though. yes, buying pre-ripped jeans is definately wierd! i don't get it at all. i get new pants when mine rip, but maybe i'm just uncool like that... if i see a guy with his pants hanging around his knees, and his boxers/briefs showing, my response is ew. if (from what i understand) a guy sees a girl in the same style of dress, he is more likely to, shall we say, study the sight? therefore, it is my opinion that when dressing for something (like school) where the guys need to concentrate, one shouldn't dress to be a distraction, it's not fair of us. that doesn't mean dress like a frump, it just means don't show off everything you have (or don't have - which is worse [I have major issue with this - things that make girls look bigger, make guys look more muscular - if you want to look bigger/more muscular work out or something, don't pad your clothing, that's just ewie!]). But sometimes, if I get annoying or do something stupid like my cable tie/zip tie incident, my team kicks me out of the pit for a while to do scouting, so usually, I'm on my own :D :p But seriously, just walk up and start talking...works most of the time ;) |
