Hmm...how much would a medium sized house cost me?:D

And what the deal with dual citizenship? I like Canada. What I saw was very pretty, the countryside. Then we hit Quebec.

The first thing I remember seeing in Quebec was grafiti under a bridge, proclaiming:

Revolte!

('revolt' in french, FYI)

 what's their problem??

Melissa Nute 01-05-2002 19:53

Ben - They are bit strange i would say...

Harrison 01-05-2002 20:52

A BIT WIERD? Try A LOT wierd...but anyway...

They are upset because about 200 years ago they were "repressed" by the english. They feel the evil english types are still repressing them (ya, right).

just to stir up some trouble on the whole canada vs. america theme, heres a pic I saw one time on the net.... :D

Melissa Nute 01-05-2002 22:08

Dan, are you trying to cause more trouble....

Ben Mitchell 01-05-2002 22:13

I always thought Santa lived much further North than THAT. If he was that close, I'd pop in for a visit, rather than write him a letter:D

Harrison 01-05-2002 22:21

Also, Canada is quite a bit larger than the states...Contrary to what that map says.

Ben Mitchell 01-05-2002 22:28

Hmm...

This map has somewhat of an anti-american slant to it...

It also, for some odd reason, reminded me of something: i need an avatar - ill try and get one soon.

Well, on most maps it looks that way, but you gotta keep in mind that the earth is round, not flat. So actually, Canada just looks bigger cause areas up there are exaggerated. ;) You know, the whole mercador projection thing :D

Harrison 02-05-2002 22:10

Well if you ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT I am more worried than ever about the american education system...

DanL 02-05-2002 22:13

tuché :D

Not all the schools are that bad...

Harrison 02-05-2002 22:20

So that means that SOME ARE?

Dear god...

Sadly, I have to say yes to this...
But usually those are the schools in the not so good areas of towns...and lack of funding...

Harrison 02-05-2002 22:43

Well I shall set the record staright:

Canada is bigger than the USA.

Take that education system!
