The upload functionality doesn't work, but that won't be hard to add in.

If you do test it out, can you post what Browser (and version, and on what OS) you used, and affirm that it did or didn't work. Don't duplicate if your browser/version/os combo has been spoken for.

IE6 - Windows XP : works
Mozilla 1.5 - Windows XP : works

CD-Media -- it's getting closer.

Firefox 1.0.7 - Ubuntu 5.10 Breezy : Works*

*Running into issues deleteing the stuff that I uploaded, but it goes up no problem.

what kind of issues deleting? im in the middle of fixing other things, and may be impacting your testing..

Safari is special, and CD-Media may not be 100% functional in it at the get-go. Any errors or behavior you can describe?

Everything works now from what I can tell.

I tried deleteing the attachment and the paper and it just won't go away. I clicked the garbage can and nothing happened....until just now when it worked. I tried deleting the attachment for awhile with no luck. But I think you fixed it now anyway.

Would you happen to need a full test of Firefox 1.5, Mozilla (the original), or Epiphany Web Browser in Ubuntu? From just browsing through it with the 3 everything appears to be working well.

Any testing you can do would be great -- the main browsers have been accounted, for, though. IE6, Mozilla/FireFox, Opera(?) and Safari. I'm going to finish up some of the auto-tag settings, and then begin the final import, I think.

I guess you don't need this, but everything looks good in Opera 8.5. I can check it in Opera 9 preview 2 if you'd like.

Don't forget to use double quotes around names & small phrases (ie: "Dave Lavery") otherwise each word gets added as a separate tag.

Re: CD-Media Progress

I still have a problem editing the white paper description (where the "refreshing" message stays there. The white paper is "BASIC Stamp Preprocessor v2.13".) This time I noticed that IE6 reported an error on the page: "Line: 1972; Char: 4; Error: Unknown runtime error; Code: 0; URL: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/60"

When I reload the page, the correct (edited) text is there.

I couldn't provoke the "refreshing"-in-the-description again.

Oops. I just cleared my cache, and was going to try editing the description again, and NOW ALL OF CD-MEDIA IS GONE! NO PHOTOS, NO TAGS, NO WHITEPAPERS. JUST AN EMPTY SHELL! (Did you just delete everything for the reload?)

[edit]I guess so, since I just tried again, and saw: "off while i import.. --brandon"[/edit]

Yeah, I think I know where that error is .. I'll fix it once the data is in.

Still getting an error when I click "Save" after editing the whitepaper description: "Line: 1970; Char: 4; Error: Unknown runtime error; Code: 0; URL: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/1355"

[edit]
Note: This is when editing the long description (on the light background), not the short description (in the gray box.)

IE6 SP1, Win2K Pro SP4
[/edit]

[edit2]
The error seems to be in function cdmSaveResponse() on this command:
Code:

elt.innerHTML = saveAjax.response;
[/edit2]

I thought it's because 'description' is a reserved word in JavaScript in IE .. I thought I fixed it, but I guess not.

It works on my IE6 (Win XP) 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

Brandon, I am going to (try to) make sure that you get your own personal webhug at the WI Regional for this one - great work!

I get the same error at home on my laptop. Same IE6 version as yours. Win XP Pro v2002 SP2. I'm trying to remember how to check my Java version, but Java Update tells me I have the latest version.
