Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #51
...though the scrolls were lost in the Alexandria fire, hints of Pharaoh's strange exploits come to us in hushed whispers like desert zephyrs. The legends speak of his fondness for combining Egyptian beer and camel racing. The strangest tells of an elixir fueled mad dash towards a mirage into which the Pharaoh simply disappeared...only to re-appear several days later outside a local Luxor watering hole. Here we have the first evidence as to the truth behind this bizarre tale. Apparently the Pharaoh stumbled into a worm-hole linked to a 2005 F.I.R.S.T competition. We can further corroborate this space-time adventure with a rash of pyramid building after his return. Oddly enough the 'glyphs of the time period refer to these pyramids as "tetras".

Pharaoh:"This is the worst attempt at pyramids I have ever seen. They are too small and have holes in them! When I die even if I have to be put in these bad attempts at pyramids I hope I get lifted into the bright light like that guy over there (referring to the lift)."

Alright, maybe I'm just being a softy, but I'm going to allow Dave and George's entries for two reasons:
a) Nobody, myself included, seems to remember a Friday deadline. b) I'm too busy to worry about such things. With that said, first place goes to... Quote:
