We always do alliance selections. We feel that this is a grand tradition of FIRST and we also feel that this is an important part of Rookie training which is one of the major points of holding Ramp Riot. We try to give Ramp Riot the feel of a regional event in terms of atmosphere and processes. |

I'm so excited for this competition! Ramp Riot is one of my favorite off-seasons! Hey, it's where I learned how to drive the arm (well....sort of) on last year's robot. Wasn't there a radio station there last year?

I heard so much about this off-season after RAGE attended last year that I decided to come down to PA this year to check it out! :)
I will be facilitating a NEMO (Non-Engineering Mentor Organization) workshop during the lunch break. This is open to any mentor who deals with the team logistics such as travel, fundraising, meals, public relations, mentor/student recruiting and retention, etc.; even if your team is not competing at Ramp Riot you can still attend the meeting. The more mentors who attend, the more information and ideas we can exchange! Please come prepared with a list of the top three issues of concern to your team. See you on November 5! |
