Claiming Couches for Capital Clash?

Alright, since the last time I tried it worked in about three hours, I figure lightning may strike twice (albeit in the complete opposite direction).

I'm highly interested in attending the Capital Clash in Washington. Probably even volunteering. Problem is, the cost of a hotel in the DC area is a bit high for a person suffering from Brokecollegestudentitis like myself to afford.

That said, is there anyone in the DC area that has a couch I could borrow for two nights (getting in Friday night and leaving Sunday afternoon/evening)? I'm more than willing to make myself useful (as useful as one can be after a day at a FIRST competition), and I'll spring for Krispy Kremes or some reasonable equivalent. (Yes, Dave, I know there's no equivalent for Krispy Kremes, but I'm not going to lose a couch offer just because they don't eat 'em. ;) )

Thanks!

<Edit> To sweeten the pot, I will gladly return the favor for Palmetto or a South Carolina off-season, which I so know will happen for 2006.</edit>

Thanks!

I know this is my personal opinion but..... real Donuts only come in pink boxes, not white! :D

I got you, with room for more. My van only seats 7, so that might be the limit...

If you fly, a pickup at Dulles Airport is easy too as I live 10 minutes from there.

If you've got room, I need a place to crash while I'm up there. drop me an email at work matthew.glennon(at)us.army.mil

I'll give you my office number in email and we can talk about the peticulars.
Thanks a lot!

PS: I'll be driving up and don't need travel assistance, just a place to put my head for the night. :-D

Ok. I do recommend taking metro into the convention center though, parking around it can be 1) difficult 2) expensive.

Realistically, I have room for ~3 people, so if you want a spot holla at me.
