Center to Center Distance for 2002 Chiaphua and Cluster gear

Those Chiaphuas are such great motors that it is ashame to see them just sitting on the shelf. So, in the fall I might see if the team would like to make a gearbox with them (the 2002 ones we have that are not being used). I know the cluster gear and Chiaphua shaft are a wierd 36 pitch and 25 degree pressure angle according to Dr. Joe, but he also said it is enlarged so calculating c-c for a standard gear might not give good results.

So, for anyone who used the Chiaphua motor and cluster gear in 2002, what center to center distance did you use between the two and how did it work?

Thanks.

Dave,

I used .736" for the C-to-C in 2002. I posted this gearbox here. No problems with the mesh.
