Who needs comedy when you are a Vulcan.

You can not change the speed of light.

Everything is relative, so if you are traveling backwards at 10 MPH in a
car, and shine a flashlight out of the windshield in front of you... A
stationary onlooker that is sitting in a lawnchair by the side of the road
would notice a 10 MPH decrease in the speed of light.

My hair is at least 12 inches long

You are reifying "hair" as a single entity, which is patently untrue. You have thousands of hairs on your body, and a large fraction of them are clearly not 12 inches long or longer. If your nose hair, for example, is that long, I don't ever want to meet you in person. I doubt that your mean hair length is even 12 inches.

The expression "the whole nine yards" refers to the length of ammunition belts in WWII American fighters.

Not when your business goes bankrupt the first week...

Once you acelerate close to the speed of light, your mass becomes infinite

In Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon Jinn says this to Anakin before the Boonta Podrace on Tatooine: "The ability to speak does not make you intelligent, now get out of here."

Technically speaking, it wasn't the characters conversing, but the actors that were put into those roles.

This coming Sunday is Easter.

((I'd like to submit that I'm not Catholic, I'm Pentecostal.... and this coming Sunday is still Easter. :D ))

Well... in certain parts of the world, yes you'd be right. But what about other places on the planet that you travel to where you either lose or gain a day... what is August 24th here could really be August 23rd or 25th elsewhere.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.
