The "hair" itself is not "wet". The hair follicles, in strands known as "hairs", traps molecules of water, therefore making the "hair" "wet".

the engine itself is not the direct cause of the heat. it is the explosions within the engine that are causing the heat

"Christmas" as it is used in our culture today can mean so many different things (a spirit, a season, a Christian holiday, or an entirely secular holiday) that one must take into account the many and varied meanings. For example, one would be hard pressed to find someone who has never, in their entire life, demonstrated what is known as "the Christmas spirit."

if something has been killed, then it generally can't come back. If one "loses" their voice, it is due to sickness, and once it passes, their voice returns. therefore their singing is not "killed" per se.
