Re: [RCU]: RCU Newsletter

As mentioned above in Tiff's post about the newsletter, there is a story section. This section is an opportunity for you all to write stories (for a special topic/theme) and Elise and I will evaluate it and post the best/most appropriate one. In a way, it is like a contest. We will post the one we think has a message or interesting experience. They can be humorous, descriptive, heartfelt, happy, sad or all of the above.

--Topic: Summer // Theme: Teamwork". Did you do anything interesting this summer with your team? Any stories to tell? We want to hear about it--

Rules:
o Open to all ages - male AND female
o 250 words or less
o Deadline: August 31st
o E-mail to: stories.rcunewsletter@gmail.com with your submission, your name, age and phone number so we can contact you (we promise this information will be confidential and not distributed unless you are okay with it)

If you are to win, we will contact you and make any necessary modifications =).

Take Care,
--Elise Janowak and Neha Batra

Re: [RCU]: RCU Newsletter

Update:

The story can be up to 300-400 words. If it's more than that I can't make anymore room for it. Try to keep it to 350 though.

Thanks...

We also have changed:

The RCU Girl Spotlight to the RCU Spotlight-- talking about events, people, teams making an impact

There will also be a techical q & a section now.

thank you for everyone who is helping me on this. i thank you whole heartly.

Re: [RCU]: RCU Newsletter

I can do the fun and games part for us if you'd like.

Since I'm not a techie and all, and it'd be one way for me to help contribute.

Re: [RCU]: RCU Newsletter

this is great!! we have all our slots filled up for this first newsletter..

every newsletter we will open it up to those that want to help. so if you want to help out just tell me. because we'll make a list of the staff so share the duties and all.

editors will remain the same for each RCU year-- July to July which in this case is our volumes. this is of course volume one.

thank you all for your support and cooperation.

Re: [RCU]: RCU Newsletter

many of you have visited this link as directed by me for a story. and some of you have already written a story! (THANK YOU for those of you that have)

if you have any questions or clarifications, you can PM me, i'm usually really good about getting back within 1-2 hours.

also, it would be nice to have all the stories in by the end of the week. If you are planning to turn in a story (and won't be able to turn it in this week but can have it to me by next week) can you let me know?
