Palm software?
Well, I don't think I'm the only geek on Chief Delphi with a palm pilot. There a billion pieces of software you can put on them, and most of the good ones are free! Hard part is knowing which of bazillion titles out there are any good. So, what kind of palm do you have, and what apps do you have on it? Why do you like them?

Re: Palm software?
I've a Palm Zire 72 and the software I use commonly use is AvantGo (heck, I even developed an official AvantGo channel that's due to launch soon), Rough Guides Map of New York City in the decreasing chance that I get lost, MMPlayer for watching movies/tv shows, TCPMP which does the same (and more) as MMPlayer but it's open-source, Novii Remote for control TVs and other AV equipment, and of course, the only thing I really need for my Palm, Bedazzled.. the most addictive game ever.

MyBible from http://www.laridian.com. I currently have 9 different bible versions loaded. It's a lot easier to carry around a Palm than 9 hard copy bibles. Documents to Go from http://www.dataviz.com You can view and edit Microsoft word and Excel files on the Palm. I use it primarily to record the exercise files from my heart monitor in an Excel spread sheet. (My heart rate monitor is not one of the fancy ones that interfaces directly with the PC.) Both of these are cheap, but not free. I use them a lot more than any of the free stuff I've tried though. |
