Virtual Contruction
Well, I thought you guys would really enjoy this.
Ok I'll give you this little link. Pause for a second... Now you can let your jaws drop in sheer amazament and wonder. One of the most impressive things that I noticed about this was that the entire system was self-contained, no external parts whatsoever (I'm pretty sure those wires are just for power and programing), meaning implimentation of this tech could be relatively easy. Go ahead and post your reactions, and ideas and technologies that you think could come from this. Have fun! ;) -Chris |

Apparently so, I mean, the guy was able to move the objects around, which would require interaction, and knowing where the objects were. I think that this is very impressive considering that it's being used as kind of a "digital window" which is a really cool idea.
People at MIT come out with such cool stuff :) |
Re: Virtual Contruction
Very interesting how it can keep a frame of reference and know exactly where it is in space.
