What do the professionals think?
I've also noticed one thing about the visualization award, the rookie or a team that qualifies for the rising star award is not giving out at a regional level. This is the first year that my team is going to submit a video and i don't know whether i should go for the rising star award or the normal one.
I say this because i know who judges them at the regional level, which is peers, and i know they look for the most spectacular one. (or though it seems). My question is what do the judges look for at nationals? I thought the one that won at St. Louis regional this year was far better than the one that won a Nationals. And if the rising star award is only giving at Nationals, does the winning team have to be present? I'm asking all these questions because i only got one shot at this before I'm done and off to collage. My goal is to take the award. Should i submit the video as a normal veteran even though i qualify for Rising star? |
Re: What do the professionals think?
Veteran. Also the one chosen to win is the one that best emplifies the message and the graphics aren't terrible. Also the qualification for rising star may change, as it has in the past. Originally you had to be a rookie team.

What do the professionals (and others out there) think are cheesy and cliched ideas for the Autodesk Award for Visualization? |
