Re: Big 10 Confrence
Hmmm i think that PSU will go undefeated if they don't play MSU this year. If they do then the will only lose one and thats against MSU haha.
PSU is pretty good this year. I am impressed. |
Re: Big 10 Confrence
What a game! Cold Pizza ESPN Friday morning was amazing. Paternoville/Camp Nittany with people camping out for 6 days for prime seating unbelievable. Friday night, PSU was announced the #1 Tailgating location in the nation at Rally in the Valley. The weather was cold, rainy, and miserable... however, we were up bright and early for an amazing spot on College Game Day ESPN. PSU was announced the #1 fan/student section today. A LONG day of tailgating, followed by an amazing game, and if you only knew the things that happened afterwords that didn't make national television. The rushing of the field in Beaver Stadium!
... can't hardly wait for tomorrow's rankings! |
Re: Big 10 Confrence
Hats off to Penn State. Hopefully Wisconsin can rebound, we need some defense.

Hey id say that texas tech is one of the better teams out there and we only lost by like 6 points. Yeah the nebraska loss was bad im not going to disagree on that one...i dont know what happened the last like 30 seconds but we are 4-1 and what, purdue is like 2-3. who are they playing that is so difficult other than Notre Dame? |

Nebraska had the game won when one of it's Dlinemen picked off TT with like 1:20 left. Instead of getting his 300 lb self onto the ground, he decided he wanted to take it 85 yards to the house. and promptly fumbled the ball back to TT, who then scored a TD for the win. |
Re: Big 10 Confrence

Re: Big 10 Confrence
So, I went to Hooters with one of my roommates today to watch the game. I've never been in a building with so many people, screaming, with loud TV's, etc, etc. It became very intense at times. When PSU made their first touchdown, then intercepted and returned for the second, the Hooters girls had everyone up doing "If you're happy and you know it: 1. clap your hands 2. say Hooters 3. say Penn State". All in all it was a very disheartening game. With only one second left, I have only been more heartbroken once in my lifetime, and that was in Houston. Let's hope we don't fall to far in the rankings.
The sadness in Happy Valley is so great you can hear the peepers on College Ave. |
Re: Big 10 Confrence
Ok, I have now officially lost ALL faith in the Boilermakers for this season...GO NOTRE DAME!!!! Yup, you guessed it right I like both teams...that's hard to find in Indiana.

Dear Kyle - I love you
Dear Cory - taken fromESPN Quote:
edit: ...and if you watched the full game, ND did actually win by the first calling of the refs. It was only after the students had stormed the field that the refs reconvened and decided to give USC 7 seconds and another chance. :( |
Re: Big 10 Confrence
Amazing win by the Wolverines yesterday, eh?
We really don't have the consistency to win the Big 10. Rivas' record in kicking isn't that great when it really matters, and Henne doesn't have Edwards to back him up when he throws an off pass anymore. HOWEVER, it was great to see some redemption, especially that kind of 1-second-left oh-my-gosh-what-is-going-to-happen redemption. I predict Manningham to become even more of a leader on the team as the season progresses. GO BLUE! :) |
