Name the Item
Here's a game idea. Someone describes an item--anything readily available will do, including past robots. The next person takes a guess at what the item is and posts the next item's description.
Description rules are similar to the ones in Catchphrase (for those that have played this game at some point). 1. You may not use the item you are describing in your description. 2. You should keep the description as short as possible. 3. If no one guesses it after 24 hours, please post another hint. 4. The describer is responsible for giving the correct answer if someone is wrong. I'll start. This handy item is used by schoolkids to carry books and by campers to carry supplies. It is not a car. It is usually made of some sort of fabric. |
Re: Name the Item
That's a backpack.
This FIRST robot proved to be much slower than its opponents, as it possessed the wimpiest pair of motors in the kit for its year. Of course, some were drawn to it because nobody ever really did such a thing. |

Beatty '02?
This object can be used to play games, listen to music, and look at photos. it's silver back and bright white front make it very distinguishable. |

This robot with pink and green flags and pink bumpers exploded a bin by pushing it under the bar at the 2003 Phoenix Regional. (name it, it has a name). |

<not an entry: Shouldn't the game clear all prior questions once the 20th response (or so) has been made, so we don't end up with 90 questions and total chaos?> |
Re: Name the Item
<not an entry> Maybe after about 2 pages I'll figure out which question is the one that should be responded to. At this point, I'd say sanddrag's question.</not an entry>

Re: Name the Item
I guess since it has been a while since somone asked a question...
This type of bat is used in a game that ends after a minimum of 54 outs. the game is NOT one of the top 3 watched sports in the US. Name this type of bat. |
Re: Name the Item
Sounds like a cricket bat. I'm not sure, though.
This distinctive robot could pick up two tetras from the auto loader in autonomous. |
Re: Name the Item
The Pink Team (Shows you how dedicated people can become, leaving warm Florida to come up to the cold north in the middle of March! They are going to Boston which is really cool.)
This robot put up quite a show in the 2005 Curie Division wielding dual corkscrews, but it just couldn't handle the "Buzz" coming from it's final opponent. |
