Where are you and your team heading to, regional wise?

Team 341 is heading for Chesapeake, Philly, and Nationals.
We are also planning a day trip to the NJ Regional to scout the game and cheer on some friends!!!

Best of luck to everyone this season! Its gonna be another great one. You can feel it!!!

If we can afford it we were planning on going to GLR, WMR, and the Championship. If we have to drop one we won't go to WMR.

We are heading to the Wisconsin (or as I think we should call it, the Badger) Regional, and to GLR. And maybe if all the pieces fall into place, Nats for the first time in several years, but I won't be holding my breath on that one.

We're probably going to go with Detroit this year (not on anyone's spring break!). If we do well and get the funds, we're gonna try for Championships too!

Cyber Blue is going to Grand Rapids, Phoenix, and Nats. We are unable to go to the Boilermaker Regional due to a band trip that is conflicting with the same date. They can set their schedule way ahead of what we can so we have to work around them. Anyway we are excited about the chance to go to Grand Rapids for the first time and Phoenix is our favorite regional of them all.

Team 836 is going to most likely BAE Systems regional in NH, and definitely the Chesapeake regional. Oh and Nationals.

Team 45 is going to Boilermaker and Championships.

Look for 269 at the Wisconsin Regional and hopefully Boilermaker, if not the 2nd regional location will be under discussion as well.

And with enough luck we willl be at the Championships for the 7th straight year.

114 will be going to Sacramento and Silicon Valley as usual. We will try to go to nat's, but considering we've gone the past two years, it doesn't seem very likely. If Nationals is not available, we will probably be going to the Portland regional instead.

296 will be going to BAE and Greater Toronto this year, and hopefully the Championship if we can pre-qualify.

1219 is heading to the Greater Toronto Regional [GTR] and maybe the Waterloo Regional -- but we're also hoping to attend the Championships if we're able.

Team 93 had a GREAT time at Boilermaker and West Michigan last year, however, the new batch of regionals (including one in Cheesehead country) forces us to reconsider our destinations this year.

For our 10th season in FIRST we are currently signed up for the Wisconsin Regional and would like to attend the Buckeye Regional. If the cards fall right we will return to the championships yet again.

1547 will be going to the New Hampshire regional (BAE) and GTR...hope to see everyone there!!!!!!!!!

Some of our team might also go down to FLR and Waterloo just to scout and such...and hopefully we'll be going to nats again this year!!!!!!!!

We are going to Great Lakes, and Toronto, We are volunterring in detroit this year, and it is on the same weekend as the midwest....so looks like we arnt gonna get our 2nd place again..and we might go to buckeye if we raise the money

269 is in for Atlanta today. As registration has opened to Tier 1 teams, we felt the need to take some pressure off of ourselves and just get in early. We still expect to do very well at regionals. :)

772 is going to Finger Lakes, Waterloo, and GTR for sure :) - same as last year and the same as team 188 actually as well.

I personally will definitely make it to Waterloo (seeing as how the event takes place about a 2 minute walk from where I live in residence) and probably Toronto as well. Can't wait!

both 1390 and 1604 are signed up for the Florida Regional and also the Championship. I believe 1604 will be able to afford both, we'll just have to see about 1390.

Team 59 (RamTech) is going to go to the Orlando Regionals in Florida and than to the Nationals because we got a raincheck form last year when we qualified but didn't have enough cash to go.

2. Some of our mentors went to Purdue.
3. Closeness about 1 1/2 hr drive.

Corporate sponsors are great to have(and we are thankful for them), but they aren't the only way teams raise money to register for events. A lot of teams work hard to put together fundraisers and raise the money the old fashioned way. Relying on corporate sponsors to pay for everything isn't always the right way to approach this question. The way to approach it is like this, what can OUR TEAM do to fundraise the money for additional events? I guarantee you that the teams who do go to multiple events put in a lot of hard work to get there. I am not lecturing or scolding, that is not my intent. I am just trying to make a point. If I seem like I am coming off harshly, I apologize. I am only trying to say that maybe you could look beyond corporate sponsors and try some team fundraisers, you would be surprised how much money you could raise. :) Twas' just a thought...

A lot of our funds come from local companies - a few hundred dollars of donation, even $50, add up. Also, these local companies are VERY interested in groups from the area to promote them, because they know your shirts will be worn to community events to advertise them, and that the people seeing those shirts can contribute business. Try them before you give up on money!
