What is everyone team colors? What combinations of colors do you use?

AND

What type of shirt do you use? Like bowling shirts, hockey shirts, or polo shirts.

Ah, the progression of 1293's uniforms...

2004
Shirt 1: Long-sleeved gray tee, with 1293 on one sleeve and our logo on the back
Shirt 2/3: Short-sleeved maroon/gray tee, with 1293 on the front and the logo on the back. (Bear in mind, this was our pre-saw blade era. The logo back then was the triangle, circle, and square with each of our three schools' mascots inside.) So I guess our colors that year were red/white/blue/gold/green/gray/maroon.

2005
This year, all of our shirts were the same, except each set of three shirts had one blue, one green, and one black shirt. The old logo was on the front of the chest, while the saw blade logo (a version of which is now our team's logo--see my avatar?) and sponsors were on the back. Now we're down to green/blue/black/orange/yellow. M'Aiken Magic (1102) got a picture of us and our shirts here.

2006
This is still to be determined, but I'd be willing to bet upon some colors drawn from the new logo, so some dark grays and oranges are my hunch.

Tye dye all the way! I believe in 1999 we had tye dyed shirts and we wore bowling shirt things.

So this year for 2006 i believe we are going to still stick with tye dyed as usuall.

Team 836 we use bright yellow and black, after all we are the robobees.
In the past. . .
Students got bright yellow T-shirts with black writting and logos.
Mentors got black polo shirts with bright yellow writing and logos.

Tonight at our meeting we are going to discuss the possibility of polo shirts for the students and mentors in either black or yellow.

1604 & 1390 - School colors and regular t-shirts made from a local t-shirt company. The cheaper the cost of the shirt the better. Sponsors of the team usually go on the back.

For past competitions, we have had red and black soccer jerseys, and of course our construction helmets with the devil horns. For this year's BEST competition, which has to do with NASA and fixing the Hubble, we are going to have flight suits.

Last year we had regular t-shirts with the kaizen logo printed very large on the front. It brought a lot of attention. On the back we had sponsors and our team name and a yellow lightning bolt (topic of much discussion by the t-shirt commitee). The previous year we had ash shirts with a black shopping cart speeding by.

I dont think we are doing tye-dye this year!! :D lol 3 years is enough for me..lol This is year i think we are planning the main color to be teal with dark purple sleeves. As of our meeting last night this was our idea..so hopefully it works! :)

The X-Cats team shirt has been black and red tie dye t-shirt since 2001.

Since our team is generally recognized by "Black & Gold" (Purdue colors), we stick with that.

Some shirts in the past...

T's: Yellow, Lightish yellow, white. My preference? Bright yellow. More noticeable.
Jersey's: Bright yellow and black. I prefer bright yellow again. Black gets hot.
Sweatshirts: Black, always. Nickname on back.

we have a bright orange jumpsuit w/ blue writing (or you could just call them jail suits...)

Our team color is mostly red with some blue. We usually have at least a polo shirt and t-shirts.

The Technokats is mainly Red and Blue, however white is a highlight color. We switch shirts from year to year. But we typically wear a polo (golf) shirt on Saturdays. Look for some un-characteristic shirts this year, since it will be our 15th year!

The Miracle Workerz [MOE] have worn the same [somewhat reflective] Lime-Green soccer jerseys since the team's rookie year in 2000. [which probably will never change, unless they stop making them like they did the green and black tiger print bandannas we wear.] The only thing that changes majorly is the listing of sponsors on the back.

The front logo changes every year. Looking at our jersey you can tell which year we are by the number of gears in the logo.

1st year - [Big] MOE - one large gear w/ a halo.
2nd year - Lil' MOE - one large gear w/ halo and a smaller gear at the bottom.
3rd year - MOEhawk - One large gear w/ halo and wings and two smaller "claw" gears
[Affectionately known as the Screaming MOEchicken of Death logo.]
4th year - GeroniMOE - one large gear with 3 gears inside [planetary gear]
5th year - GizMOE - one large gear with 3 gears inside along with a wing, halo, and a 5th
"claw gear" [combo-logo with bits from all first 4 seasons to celebrate our team's 5th year.]
6th year - MOEbius - 6 gears combined to look like a bio-hazard logo.
7th year - ? - ??????

Lightning Robotics team colors are orange (primary)and blue (secondary).

As for shirts:

2003: Orange tee shirts a competition shirt with sponsor logos on it. And a practice shirt with a cartoon of our 2003 robot.


2005: A dark blue practice shirt with a design on the front and sponsor names on the back. And orange polo shirts with a solid blue version of our L logo embroidered on. We also had orange hats with the same blue L logo embroidered on.

2006: We are planning on getting the same polos and designing a new practice shirt.

we're red and white stripes (of course...we're waldo!)

They are also rugby jerseys...when we went to wonderland people were like "so are you guys part of a rugby team or something?" and i was like "no...FIRST robotics! it beats rugby anyday" hehe (no effense meant to people who play rugby!!)

Our team colors are red and black. We use regular T shirts with our team logo on the front.
Last year we had two shirts, one with a our logo on the front and another with three sprokets on the front and a tetra on the back with our sponsers on it.
We also had a black polo shirt that we wore wile traveling.

Well our team is strongly tied to the colors green and black. We normally wear a black long sleeve Tee shirt. Also our symbol is a green ohm symbol. This year its been hybridized with a gear as you can see next to my WAI.

Code Red has always been... well, you guessed it... RED!

We have just regular red t-shirts with our team isignia on it with white lettering on the back.

first day is white T-shirt with 3/4 orange sleeves
second day is black polos with steel face on the left side
our colors i guess are Orange and Black

Team 007 has always used t-shirts. Just plain ol' t-shirts. We used to change colours and logos each year, but I think we voted to keep the robot name (Moonraker) and our colors (black and orange) the same. It'll be pretty interesting. =]

Our team is using the same colors we always use,
The Good old white and red shirts, with the snow camos, our trademark colors...hope to see everyones colors this year

Our school colors are blue and gold. We decided when we formed the team 5 years ago to use black as our main color. It's a popular color and we wanted not to look nerdish.

We also put our sponsor names on the FRONT. We have received a lot of publicity in the last few years and we have learned that most publications do not like to give free publicity to companies. But now that our sponsors are on the front of the shirts, almost every picture in newspapers, magazines or TV will have our sponsors logo in the picture. We haven't figured out how to get their names on radio yet:)
