I'm almost positive Apache on Windows wouldn't be able to. I'm going to try setting up my debian apache server to serve via GmailFS later.

If anybody ever uses a terabyte in the next few years the world would probably come to an end

I can't find the quote, but it was from a while ago. Some computer guy that said people would never need more then a megabyte of space.

Well, you can get Macintosh System 7 down just under 1mb, but that is an absolute minimum install. Still a pretty dang capable OS for being able to fit on a floppy.

Do you mean a terabyte of email or a terabyte of simple harddrive space on your computer? If I put all my video ( My ripped DVDS and first videos ) I could likely fill a terabyte. Between all my computers and backup CDs of the DVDs I have nearly 2 terabytes.

It's often misquoted and also often attributed to Bill Gates, but here is what you are looking for. Obviously, as with most quotes on technology it is sorely outdated.

"DOS addresses only 1 Megabyte of RAM because we cannot imagine any applications needing more." --Microsoft, 1980, on the development of DOS.

30 gigs of email would be completely useless at this point in time, as I'm only using 46 megs of mail at the moment and I save every conversation I have. 30 gigs of virtual hard drive though....well, to be honest I dont really need that cause I have 20 gig left on my main and 41 gig left on my other hard drive.

Besides, I'm completely infatuated with the gmail organization structure, so I'm not switching if I can help it.

Ha.

Currently using 2.1 GB in Gmail (and just 156 MB in my Drive). So, at least in my experience, that's still pretty outlandish.
