New Teams/FIRST Info Pages
 

I haven't seen this posted (and yes, I did a search nothing of the sort came up though). So far it seems as though there are 1816 team numbers registered for FRC this year. Now, before you get all excited - thats TEAM NUMBERS not TEAMS (the difference being that if a team decided not to do FRC, its' number is not reused, in other words not all numbers are still a team). Last year there were 1708 NUMBERS registered. So thats 108 new from last year.

Now a strange thing is, these pages don't seem to be finished if you view the source theres a lot of code commented out (awards, want to mentor, want to be mentored). Plus interesting the drop down menu where you choose state/country has a lot of commented out sections - looks like its Mexico's and Israel's provinces/states (not sure what they're called). Weird.

Also somewhat strange is that when you count the new numbers you get 96, not 108 new team numbers. Some of them, 1711 for example, are missing.

I thought 1711 was a rookie last year. :confused:

Apparantly there are a few teams that registered last year but didn't go to any events. I'm not sure why there are random holes in the FIRST database though. :ahh:
