**FIRST EMAIL**/2006 Scholarship Opportunities Available On-line Now
 

Greetings Teams:

It is that time of year for seniors! The 2006 Scholarships are now posted on the FIRST website at: http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006...hipsummary.htm.

Over 60 schools, companies and professional associations from New England to California are offering scholarships from $500 to full tuition for FIRST Robotics Competition students. Over $8,000,000 in scholarship funding is offered from schools like Worcester Polytechnic Institute, ITT Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology, Florida Technological University and Boston University for the 2006-2007 academic year.

There are scholarships for engineering, computer science, automotive and other technological fields. Some scholarships honor academic achievements and others are for participating on a FRC team. There are plenty of scholarship opportunities for all students to consider!

We are waiting for some schools to update their 2006 scholarships. Their application deadline dates should be similar to last year, but please check back later to confirm.
