Hey,
Our team will soon be sending out a letter to the teams attending this regional and what is needed to be properly put in our FSN (First Scouting Network) database. This will mostly likely be just in the form of filling out a scouting form but that is still left to be questioned. Attached is a sample of the scouting form. This most likely will be sent out next week and should be completed and sent back by the end of the build period. If you have any comments,suggestions, or concerns, please P.M. me.

Yea! Baby! MiM will be there!
It is great to see all the teams that have already registered. We like the "knock down, drag out" style of play at the Palmetto. Man, the excitement is beginning to build as the traditional heavyweights of FIRST have penciled in their name to come.
I look forward to seeing you, Stephen K. Looks like MiM will do VCU this year instead of Fla. We will miss the action down south, but I think we are in a rotation to give our team members some new sights.

Here is an almost final version (if not final) of the Scouting sheet we will be using at the Palmetto Regional for FSN.
This should be sent out to teams in this regional soon, so if you can, fill it out now so we can post it on the server before the regional therefore causing less problems. Send them to usfirst818@gmail.com

Team 25 will not be there this year but we did love the treatment last year. Good luck to all teams participating this year and enjoy this great regional. It's one of the best I have been to.

1028 will be back again this year, and I think we will be at the Fairfield Inn next to the Columbia Mall again, where we stayed last year

OK...Billfred...lets move this thread back to the front page. Just a note to say that we are working hard to make the Palmetto regional better than ever. Our planning committee is deep into the planning cycle...finishing up some loose ends. We are expecting to be on NASA Webcast, as well as, our usual TV stations and media in attendance producing a lot of video for use throughout the off season (if such a thing exist). What a list of teams this year, many returning and many for the first time. Next to the Las Vegas Reg., we have the most states represented (13). We will again be providing a large screen hanging from the back of the curtain divider that will be displaying the team rankings as the competion continues. USC is planning a social that will be different from the past...Donn Griffith (an old 343 teammate of mine) is now with USC...so expect some new things. So, good luck to all of the teams this weekend and next....you are welcome anytime to come to Palmetto....more to come.

Our team talks about sc alot. We have it high on our list for next year. You guys put on a great show cant wait to see you at nationals. The bus ride is a killer but keep your fingers crossed we can convince wayne to let us come back.

Indeed, I've been emailing with Donn. Y'all are going to dig this team social--it may be enough to sell me on going to USC, and I'm already here! ;)

Will News19 be doing their traditional too-darn-early-in-the-morning show from the Colonial Center? (If so, I propose a massive walk up to the Russell House to partake in some Einstein Bros. Bagels, which are most definitely worth the walk, after the show. I wonder if they could be persuaded to open a smidge before their usual 7:30.)

You got it....Channel 19 has plans for the show on Friday a.m....early, early, early....not a bad idea about the bagel. On the 7:30 issue...you know FIRST...no way. :(

Good to hear from you guys...what a performance you guys put on at NJ. I was indeed proud to say...Hey!...we know those guys and have worked with them in the past. Good luck...hope we wind up in the same bracket at Nationals. Wish you could be a Palmetto this year...we are planning a barn burner...get group of teams.

By "they" I meant the bagel place. Not even FIRST is crazy enough to open their doors that early in the morning. ;)

Well we scored 2nd in detroit today, and we hope to win in Palmetto! Any Teams willing to help us with our scouting network plese send me a P.M. A.S.A.P. as this can help you greatly (it helped us with video to get into the finals.) .
