FIRSTcast: How many people are there listening?
 

So a comment was poisted in another FIRSTcast thread about the mystery of how many listeners we have.

So...how many of you have listened to any of the episodes? Sound off and tell us which episodes you've listened to!

You don't need an iPod to listen, you can download it in normal mp3 format at http://podcast.openfirst.org and play with your favorite media player.

Media Player on your computer (iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, ect) or any type of mp3 player, even better burn us on a cd and save us for generations to come.

There are stats available (at least for the primary mirror). These are those:

Episode 1 - 418
Episode 2 - 134
Episode 3 - 161

Of course, keep in mind that these numbers are lower than the overall listenership of FIRSTcast due to those other mirrors not being counted. Also, potentially people are downloading twice and such (those aren't filtered out in these numbers).

I have only gotten to listen to the first one sadly :(

I dont have internet at home anymore and we cant download things at school. So, it doesnt work out.

Maybe you guys should make a FIRSTcast CD. At least for me :p

So far I only listened to episode 2. I have them all DL'd though, in hopes of listening to the rest one of these days.
