All I can say is:

COLTS 10-0

OH yea, I forgot, this was any easy team. Colts don't play any team of worth :p

Who? The not ready for Primetime Bengals?
The Steeler smacked them down earlier this year. They're the futere but they can't handle the elite teams yet.
Teh Steelers are the type of team designed to beat the Colts. A ball hogging running team with a strong ball hawking D.
Nobody will ever stop the Colts but there are two ways to beat them. Keep the ball away from them or get turnovers.

I love Pittsburgh, BUT, they dont have a strong enough offence to beat out Peyton Manning. The only team i see now that can beat them are the Chargers. The only team that has the offence capable to hang with the Colts.

Now that I think of it, they are going to get beat depending on when they get the automatic homefield advantage. Once they pull the starters and they play a team that needs to win to get a berth, they will lose. That is my theory atleast...

Tha Chargers are like the Bengals (and the Colts too) all hit no field. That's why they're 6-4.

That's what I think will happen.
The only person who's opinion really matters about the record is Dungy and I garuntee you he doesn't care ONE BIT about going undefeated. He wants a Superbowl victory and he's not going to risk it over some stupid ego trip.
Once the Colts square away home field advantage all the starters are comming out.

I dunno... there are a couple more ways to look at it:

1. This Colts team detests losing. Even when they have been up by many points, the starters are still in there, working on plays, trying to get better.

2. If players treat a regular season game like a preseason game, they may find themselves "out of sync". When the Colts wrap up the division title, I can see them playing the starters well into the 3rd quarter because of this. This team's offense depends on rythm, and if Sorgi (the backup QB) is in there, then the whole team may go into a funk. He won't come in until the late 3rd or 4th quarter, and Manning won't come out if they are behind.

3. The Colts defense looked like crap against the Bengals. This side of the ball needs to treat this game like a loss. They should not be happy with this at all. Chad Johnson called them out, and still got 180+ yards. The Bengals running game went for many 15 yard jaunts. The Colts D is not playing anything like they did at the beginning of the year. Dungy can't be pleased, and the Colts fans will be harping on this all week around here. Because of this, expect the Colts starting defense to stay in most games until they return to their form of the beginning of the season. Heck, for the first 5 games of the year, no one scored more than 10 points against them. The Colts D needs to wake up and not rely on the Offense.

These next 6 games will be interesting. Don't expect the Colts to pull their starters just because they will clinch their division. Look for them to be working on things that they have not done so well.

Im not entirely sure how you plan on doing that with Tommy Maddox at the helm.

I mean, comeon, you couldn't handle the ravens in your first meeting, and you just lost to them this week.

Pitt is no longer the greatest threat to the Colts. That honor is transfered to a very underrated Jacksonville, or the Chargers (So long as Marty doesn't have one of his brainfarts and decide to air it out instead of handing off to LT).

I must agree with Koko Ed on this one here. Although the Colts defense is not playing so hot, that doens't mean that the Offense will stay in there. Yeah, Dungy and for that matter, most of the players don't care at all about a perfect season.
And come on Chad Johnson saying "I will not be stopepd" That is nothing. What does that mean, I will catch a ball today, I will score. That basically means nothing. And with an offense this hot, a strong D is not that needed. It is wished for, and probably will be gotten after a few practices, but is not 100% needed.

I don't know. The Steelers are a great team. Madox is a great QB despite what many say. For some reason I rank him higher than Big Ben. Not sure why though. I would just rather have Maddox in a big game vs. Big Ben.

I have a feling the Pats as usual will make the playoffs, this time barely, but then will get into play-off mode and beat down everyone and make it to the SB and then get crushed by the Falcons. lol

Someone...please pinch me. I'm not sure if I actually just read this, or if I'm hallucinating :ahh:

Take a look at Maddox's stats. They're downright awful. Big Ben is WAY better at managing the game and not making mistakes. Pitt couldn't beat the RAVENS with Tommy at the helm. How are they going to beat a team that can both score, and play defense, in the Colts?

Honestly, if Tommy Maddox or anyone else other than Big Ben starts for the Steelers, Bill Cowher is going to look like one of the following for the remainder of the season:

Any questions?

Big Ben is back next week.

Re: COLTS Rule!!!

Pitt doesn't have enough offence to out score Peyton.

Maddox is worse then Scott Mitchell when he had time. (if Mitchell had time he threw interceptions, getting blitzed he'll throw for 300 yards)

Colts wont pull Peyton until the 4th quarter.

The defence needs to play better or the Chargers WILL beat them.

And the Lions willnot win out.

The pats will lose in the first round.

The Eagles wont make it to the playoffs.

The colts will get homefeild advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Colts will win the super bowl because it will be played in a dome.

The bears might make it to the NFC championship game.

Green Bay will do better then what they are at right now.

But all of that doesn't matter because the Colts will win the super bowl. So it doesn't matter what else happens with the other teams.

Oh and it will be an all Manning super bowl this year...for those that don't know, The G-men and the Colts.
