Colts are basically amazing. I am no longer concerned with the reg. season because they clinched. I am just wondering how they will work in th playoffs.

No doubt that we would certainly be very concerned ... HOWEVER I don't see how you can GIVE AWAY a history-making perfect season. There is a Superbowl winner every year, but an un-defeated season hasn't happened since the '72 Dolphins.

Also, there is the issue of a well-oiled, finely tuned machine. You start sitting the stars now you could throw off their momentum and timing of the entire team.

It's probably a good thing I don't get a vote, but if I did I would say play the game that got you here. And only if we have the game well in hand then maybe rest the stars beginning LATE in the third quarter, or later. AND GO FOR THE UNDEFEATED SEASON!!

GO COLTS!

Another one bites the dust...another one bites the dust.
Colts are now 13-0

Now I think we should look at the back-up players, sure Peyton and company are all "players" (meaning they want to play in every game every play) but we can not get them hurt. So, I would look for Jeff Sorgi to start taking most of the snaps, and Rhodes to be the runningback, most of the time. But, they clenched home field advantage, so lets all sit back and watch 'em go! GO COLTS!

Dungy said that the starters will start.
He said that they are going to win, and the way they will win is with peyton edge and harrison starting.

They might start, but start can mean anywhere from one play to one series to one half to the whole game.

Re: COLTS Rule!!!

While going 16-0 would be impressive it doensnt match up to the dolphins unless they win the Super Bowl too. The colts have not won a super bowl in quite a while, none of the team members have Rings from playing as colts. If they had won super bowls recently or had a fantastic Playoff record like the patriots have had in recent years then they would not need to win this year and they could go for the perfect season but Manning is to good to not get a Ring soon and if they coach right this will be the year

Oh well it had to end sooner or later.
The Colts are lucky Manning didn't get hurt.
He really took a tremendous beating today,

Now we have to hear all the TV analyst people say things like "Manning's overrated" and "The Colts won't make it past first round" and all that...the Colts needed to lose a game, to keep the drive to keep winning behind them. Plus, the chargers had more to play for today, to survive to the playoffs. Woohoo 13-1 thats better then every other team (lol)

What idiot analyst would say Manning is overrated?
Only the boneheads on the NFL teams messageboards would say that nonsense and they have the collective intelligence of dust bunnines found under the couch.
It's all good still.

Manning definitely lost that game for 'em late. Intentional grounding and sack took em out of FG range. Dork.

Well hopefully that will tick 'em all off enough to play really hard next week, especially Edge James. He's the workhorse on my fantasy team (#2 seed and bye this week woo!) and I need him for the playoffs.

Re: COLTS Rule!!!

You can't blame that loss on Manning. He had virtually NO protection the entire game. I would also put much of it on the coaching.

The Chargers wanted (and needed) it more.
