Quick question relating voltage across compacitor
 
Im doing a problem and I am slightly confused about the voltage across a compacitor. I know it is either:
(1/C)integral(i)+v(0)
or
(1/C)(integral(i)+v(0))
Which one is it?

The first one. The v(0) takes the place of the constant C that you get in generic integration. It's the initial voltage of the capacitor. In most cases, the initial voltage is zero.

Yeah. That's what I copied down thanks. I just wanted to make sure I did not leave out a parenthesis because doing that results in two completely differnt problems.
