Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Enjoy the turkey, just don't overdo it if you're Black Fridaying like me.

This brings about the obvious question: What are you thankful for this year?

(I'll post later.)

Indeed! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Well, I'm thankful that my mom and dad still have a job. Not to say that their's have been directly under the gun, but, we have had some close calls.

I'm thankful for having a job at Sears which I'm not taking for granted.

For a house, for dial-up internet (otherwise, I wouldn't have internet at all), for clothing, for food, for everything.

Further more, I'm glad my family was able to send my sister to Japan so that she could study abroad. She'll be back in less than one month. Hopefully with a lot of stories to tell and with a lot more knowledge.

Thank God for it all.

-Joe

[edit] forgot one more thing. I'm VERY thankful just for the possibility of having wireless internet access sometime in the future. Wireless Washtenaw is working on it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Being a geek, I'm thankful for my PowerBook! ;)

No really, I'm thankful for our new house in Philly, for all my new friends at Dayton, and for FIRST (like always).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Yesterday was my grandfather's memorial service. He passed away September 14th. It made me really treasure the times I spent with him, the memories I've been blessed to have with him and my family. I'm thankful for those memories, the laughs, the tears, the joys, the sadness.
I'm thankful for the family I've been able to get to know the past three days...I've missed out on many things. My father's family lives in various places all over, and I saw a lot of them more than 14 years ago...I was merely a baby. So seeing them now and having these memories is a wonderful thing...I will be sad to see them all leave..I hope I don't have to wait another 14 years to see them again.

I'm thankful for all the friends I've made the past three years in FIRST and everywhere else. It's amazing what a mere program can bring to just one person. The blessings are endless. I love you all!

I think I speak for everyone on my FIRST team when I say that I am thankful for BAE Systems.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I suppose I should go ahead and post.

This year, I'm thankful for a few people...

-My mom, who's always there for me (whether I want her to or not)
-My friends in Preston, who continuously make life interesting
-The students of 1293, who just keep cracking away at whatever comes our way. (Last week, this was literally the case. Yay for removing shelves to make shelf space.)
-The mentors of 1293, as we seem to function as a pretty darn good unit (and keep each other from going off the deep end).
-WUSC-FM, which allows all sorts of joyous madness to happen. (Winter Wonderland for two straight hours? Sure!)
-Steve Spurrier, for giving me something interesting to do in the week before Kickoff besides freak out about the game. (We're going bowling!)
-The eighty-something folks in the Caption Contest, who continue to prove that it's a good thing that people post odd pictures on CD. ;)
