25, 103, and 1279 you guys had a amazing alliance, if we had to lose to anyone I'm glad it was you guys.
486, and 1860 you guys were amazing and i don't think i would have wanted anyone else on our alliance.

PS
does anyone have a video of the finals match one?
our camera guy forget to hit record...

Congratulations 25,103,1279. You guys were amazing.

Look out for these teams at Nationals. They are a killer combo.

They all have the ability to climb the ramp, even though they score enough points that it doesn't matter. They have killer autonomous modes, where they score almost every ball they have, lastly they have the drivers, and teamwork to get the job done.

A heads up, these guys together score around 90 points every match.

and Congratulations again to 25 for their winning of Chairmans.

I'm just wondering, as a point of clarification--did the judges award the WFA Finalist to Wayne Cokeley of 25, or Wayne Cokeley of 1089?

Re: 2006 NJ Regional

It was two separate essays that were submitted. Cokeley is on 25.

We visited NJ for that great Finals show on Saturday. I found the game in the finals to be very exciting, fast paced and riveting. Congratulations to 25 / 103 / 1279 as well as their opponents 375 / 486 / 1860 for masterful play.

We've posted video of all the Finals matches here: http://team358.org/history/2006/videos/NJ_Regional/

Not all the links have videos behind them yet. They have all been edited from the tape, but the quarter final matches are still in the process of being uploaded. Apologies to some teams who had great team action missed as the video zooms in to get a closer look at the robots.

Cokeley is from 25, but he essentially founded team 1089 and the quote that they gave in the award announcement was from 1089's WFA essay submission.

It's been said a million times, but here's mine. Congratulations to the #1 and #2 alliance, Team 25 for their sweeping accomplishements, and especially to Wayne C for the Regional WFA. Also, congratulations and thank you to all of the teams that participated. You were a great crowd and really impressed me with my first trip to the NJ Regional! Last but not least, I wanted to thank Chiniqua and George for letting me share their spotlight. It was truly a pleasure and honor working with both of you. Good luck to all the teams participating at other regionals and the championship. I hope to see you guys in ATL or next year at NJ.
Best,
Wayne

Actually there are several Wayne Cokeleys circulating around. We cloned him in 2001. This is his evil twin Mordechai responding.....

So Corey, do you still think the Chairmans should be lessened in Fantasy FIRST? :p
Congratulations to 25, 103 ( I really hope you guys come to Atlanta) and 1279. That was a heck of a show you guys put on.
I would also like to congratulate 375, 486 and especially 1860 (who our kids just loved to death. Your enthusiasm is what FIRST is all about. May you last for years to come) for putting up one heck of a battle. New Jersey was pure entertainment (in spite of the glitches).

Yes, 1860...you guys were amazing. I think that team single handedly had more fun than any of the other teams at the regional. The kids were so full of life, and just seeing how happy they were at the end of the regional made it all worth it.

Too bad they dont have enough money to come to nationals.

I can't wait to see everyone in Atlanta, and especially untill next year to see team 1860.

Team 358, any chance that you guys can post higher resolution videos sometime soon?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Rookie Inspiration doesn't qualify you for the championship anyways.

I know, I was just referring to years to come, and how they only have enough money to attend one regional, and I wish that someone would help them and provide them with the opportunity to attend the championship.

QF1: 94 & 100 pts
SF1: 95 & 116 pts
F: 78 (to 71 - awesome defense!) & 96 pts
Average: 96.5 pts

This alliance's barrage kept the "ball motivator" hopping!
