Well....you know it won't last.
Of course the whole thing has a subtle love thing going. He will get with her eventually, and I i think they will somewhat ruin it because it seems like she already knows who he is when in reality he tells her. Oh well, I'm being picky again! ::smiles innocently:: I can't help it! |

When she went and touched her lips after the kiss at the end it gave it away that she knew who he was...
Again, the movie being predictable, i said to my buddy beside me as soon as they kissed, i said "she's gonna recognize the kiss"...and I was right... |
K, even tho the effects weren't that great, they were jerky and hard to follow at points. Even tho Kirsten Dunst is a horrible MJ- her face is round, Mj's is long it just doesnt work!, and a horrible actor and I have no respect for her work because it's very shallow and unreal. Even tho, they really screwed up the plot with some of the character interactions(I cant give away the plot I feel bad). And even tho, they really did a number on the whole thing by killing the web shooters... cause there's so much about the web cartriges, how he defeats one villian with a different type of web.. or how he looses so many fights cause he's out of web cartriges or has to reload. And how they butured Uncle Ben's death.. does the house mean anything to you Sam Raimi?!
But even after all that.. I still loved it! It was so great seeig all the characters up there... I mean who expected Flash? And I hope the next one has even better examples of that.. like Felicia, they should SO bring her in. When the next one comes out(by then all my friends and I will be in university) we're all gonna drive probably 7 hours to see it together! I can't wait! *hugz to all as alwayz* Ann-Marie -team 783 |
of course the movies are going to be predictable, it is a comic. the stories are already out there, ang they go in greater depth than the movie.
as for kristen dunst, she "needs acting lessons". the effects were not that bad, of course that could only be because i was in the front row, but the only time they annoyed me was durrint the final sequence where he is swing through the buildings. it seemed too digital. overall i enjoyed the movie. stop picking out the flaws, and just enjoy the movie for the entertainment. |
I'm a drama student (not after this year :) ) what can I say.. picking movies and stuff apart is what we do. But I did really enjoy it, as did my friends that I saw it with.
*hugz to all as alwayz* Ann-Marie -team 783 PS. ugh! Kristen Dunst.. I really have no respect for her as an actor.. she's really horrible and unbelivable. |

of course it's not perfect. Still the best movie of this year.
Kirsten was ok, but tobey was awesome. Who would have ever thought he could play peter so perfectly? /me [heart] geeks |

Kirstin dunst she's not that bad, I just think this movie was different for her. I've only seen her in more comical movie where her...umm...ditziness I'll call it, is better used.
As for being MJ, I don't think she did a horrible job except her crying seems SOO fake. Oh well, like it was said before, Never go see a movie and be upset because of little things. Lots of things get changed when moved to the big screen. :D |
