Now the word I heard on the street is....if there is enough demand...DSK MIGHT go north of the boarder and play their first "international" rock show...aka show Canadians how to rock. Reply to this thread or leave them a note on their forums if you want to see these guys rock Canada. (By Canada I mean the Greater Toronoto Regional)

Botstorm, to the music of Sandstorm. :D
Is that song 120 BPM like this one is as shown in the picture?

I ran this thru the song-extracter-from-a-digital-imagerator* and I believe it is

"We are not men, we are DEVO", that fabulous dance tune from 1978.

(ps, artist = DEVO, hence the song title)

I'm being driven crazy by this.

Multiple tracks...the only pattern I'm noticing is 3 rhythm guitars, 3 vocals, 3 lead guitars. 3vs3vs3? I don't see it, only because there's no corollary evidence...

Are there any existing DS & K songs that are 3:13 with 5 seconds of silence at the beginning? With provocative (or evocative) lyrics?

 YES! PLEASE! That will be so awesome! I am already going to miss those guys play at the Midwest Regional, and I can not fully enjoy my final FIRST season membership without seeing them!

Just come across Lake Michigan to Milwaukee...DSK will be in full force at the Wisconsin Regional

The only thing I can get out of it is that it has a bass/drum intro, vocals over light guitar fills for the versus, and all out crazyness for the choruses...and a nice blistering (hopefully) solo. I can tell its NOT Symphony of Destruction. 120BPM doesn't necessarily mean that its 120BPM. My experience with the ACID program is that if you've recorded files, they are automatically in 120BPM regardless of their actual speed. Its not zoomed in enough to see exactly where the beats fall. For instance, my version of Sum 41's "Pain for Pleasure" is created at 120BPM but is actually played at something around 150BPM

I guess we'll all find out (hopefully) on Saturday!

Good observation Kevin. I also found out that the swooping arrow icons on the left by the track number mean that the sample used for that tracks are "One-Shot" sample.

ACID is a fun program, it's easy to pick up but it also has some ways to produce very high quality music. Over the semester, one of my Computer Graphics Technology professors released video tutorials for 3D Studio Max programs. A friend and myself promptly put the audio in ACID and synched it to instrumental rap music. Classic.

But my guess is that they're making a CD. Each band member could even record their part and not necessarily have to meet together but still produce songs. A CD would be sweet.

In all honesty, I believe DSK would be the perfect entertainment if the Wrap Party is indeed in Centennial Park again :D
